X-VPN Supports EFF to Help Defend Privacy and Digital Rights in 2026

X-VPN Supports EFF

Everyone deserves a more private, secure, and open internet. At X-VPN, that belief shapes not only the products we build, but also the causes we choose to support.

That’s why we’re proud to support the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an organization that has spent decades defending digital rights and working towards a better technological future. Recently, we made a donation to support EFF and joined the organizations helping sustain its work.

What Is EFF?

The Electronic Frontier Foundation, or EFF, is a nonprofit based in San Francisco that has been defending digital rights since 1990. It’s best known for standing up for online privacy, free expression, and a more open internet.

Put simply, EFF works to make sure people still have rights in the digital world. Through impact litigation, policy work, grassroots activism, and technology development, it helps protect the freedom to speak, browse, and communicate online without unnecessary surveillance, censorship, or interference.

A Meaningful Step for X-VPN

Recently, we made a donation to support EFF and the work it continues to do for digital rights. For us, this wasn’t about making a big statement. It was about supporting an organization whose mission genuinely matters.

We’re honored to support its long-term work and to stand alongside other organizations helping sustain efforts around personal data protection and free expression.

Why X-VPN Supports EFF

At X-VPN, we’ve always believed that online privacy and safety should be more accessible to everyone. Building tools that help people protect themselves online is a big part of that mission, but it’s not the whole picture.

The internet people rely on every day is shaped not just by technology, but also by the people and organizations working to defend users’ rights on a broader level. That’s one of the reasons supporting EFF feels so meaningful to us. As a company focused on protecting people online, we see its work as helping defend the foundation that makes those rights possible in the first place.

Our Broader Commitment in Practice

For us, supporting EFF isn’t a one-time gesture. It reflects a broader commitment to user protection and transparency, values that also shape how we continue to improve X-VPN itself.

We believe protecting users online means doing the work on multiple levels: supporting digital rights in the wider world, while also building stronger safeguards into the products people use every day.

Ongoing Independent Verification

Privacy promises matter more when they can be examined and tested. That’s why X-VPN is actively pursuing independent third-party audit efforts.

For us, that’s part of making sure our privacy commitments are not only stated clearly, but also supported by stronger governance and real operational controls.

Transparency That Continues Over Time

We also believe transparency should be ongoing, not occasional. That’s why we continue to publish and update our Transparency Report, which tracks law enforcement and DMCA requests over time.

According to the current report, data requests received from 2017 to November 2025 resulted in no data disclosure, reflecting the no-logs approach we’ve consistently committed to.

A Dedicated Trust Center

Another part of that broader commitment is our Trust Center, a place where users can learn more about how X-VPN approaches user protection, data handling, and transparency.

It brings together details on encrypted data transmission, zero-retention packet handling, internal access controls, continuous compliance practices, bug bounty reporting, and other measures designed to help make our privacy practices more understandable and more verifiable.

Stronger Privacy and Security Features

That commitment also shows up in the features we continue to build. X-VPN has publicly shared its work on post-quantum encryption support as part of preparing for long-term security changes, and has also introduced privacy-focused options such as Tor over VPN for users who want additional layers of protection and control. These kinds of improvements reflect the same broader philosophy: the protections people rely on online should keep evolving as the internet evolves.

In that sense, supporting EFF feels like a natural extension of work we’re already committed to doing. It’s part of the same belief that privacy should be taken seriously, transparency should be ongoing, and a better internet requires both better tools and people willing to defend the rights behind them.

Looking Ahead

Supporting Electronic Frontier Foundation is one step in our broader commitment to privacy and a better internet. Alongside improving X-VPN itself, we’ll continue looking for meaningful opportunities to support organizations working to protect digital rights, cybersecurity, and online freedom.
